βš–οΈLeverage and Margin Explained

On 1 Trade Market, leverage lets you control a larger position by committing part of your balance as margin, which magnifies both potential profit and potential loss. You can trade with leverage up to x100.

Leverage lets you open a position larger than your balance alone would allow, by committing a portion of it as margin. 1 Trade Market supports leverage on its markets so you can size positions to your strategy.

Margin and leverage

Margin is the amount of your balance set aside to open a position. Leverage multiplies your exposure: with higher leverage a smaller margin controls a larger position, which increases both potential profit and potential loss. Always size your positions to a risk you are comfortable with.
